But it did detract from an atmosphere of enjoyment that I look for when visiting a casino for an evening of gaming and fun. Given some of the comments in other reviews, the need for security is understandable. Both my companion and I also remarked on a prevailing atmosphere that seemed on-edge. Note to management: Cut the portions up the quality. The couple next to our table was likewise unhappy with their tennis ball-sized meatballs. My order of a full rack of baby back ribs was gigantic (I couldn’t even touch the second “half slab” parked on the platter) and was disappointingly mediocre. Not-so-great was the meal at the Coyaba restaurant, where the prevailing theme of bigger-is-better proved sadly untrue. Blackjack rules are liberal and table minimums were reasonable for our Sunday night visit. The non-smoking area is the best I’ve experienced, with a full array of table games and hundreds of slots and the section is truly smoke free. Parking was more than adequate in both covered and uncovered venues. They claim to be the biggest and best in the Northwest and they’re half right: The place is enormous! It seems like the place goes on forever with numerous entrances/exits but unlike some other reviewers it was not disorienting and I did not get lost in a vortex.
The latest in my on-going effort to visit every tribal casino in WA State: Muckleshoot.
